By bus:

From Panama City, at the Albrook Bus Terminal, buses leave to David each 30 minutes.
From Almirante and Changuinola (Bocas del Toro), buses leave to David each 30 minutes in a 3 hours ride, at the cost of $ 7.00/$ 8.00.
From the islands of Bocas del Toro, an additional trip by marine taxi (30 minutes, $ 3.00) conect the passengers with the buses in Almirante.

By car:

From Panama City, take the Interamerican Highway up to the kilometer 420, then turn to the left.
From Changuinola (Bocas del Toro), take the road from Changuinola to Almirante (28 kilometers).
From Almirante (Bocas del Toro), take the road from Almirante to Punta Peña (68 kilometers).
From Punta Peña, take the road to the Interamerican Highway (98 kilometers). Then, turn to the right and 10 kilometers ahead, turn to the left to the city of David.
